KMC 1083 Basic Helping Skills Class, My First Semester.

💌Assalamualaikum and Hello everyone 😊💌…

How's everything? I'm Shaza🙂 from Serian, Sarawak. Today🌞, I will share experiences during the KMC 1083 Basic Helping Skills class📕. On January 19, 2017, Tuesday is the first day of entering the Dr. Fa class. When entering FSKPM TR1🏢 class, there was no one who came at that time. In my heart whispered, was I wrong in class? Apparently, it was still early at 8:00 AM. 🕗😁

 🕘Time after time passed, other students arrived. Each one looks forward to the arrival of the lecturer. Finally, the lecturer arrived, introducing himself as Dr. Fatahyah Binti Yahya. Dr. Fa looks serious at first, after a few minutes Dr. Fa looks friendly and always smile 🙂. Dr. Fa is also knowledgeable in the field of counseling, giving me motivation in education and as a counseling trainee. Before the introductory session, Dr. Fa shows us the video🐻 on "Energizer Dance - Charlie Bear Agadoo"🐻 as an exercise. With that, I felt energetic😆. Nervous feeling is gone. When Dr. Fa asks "what is your strength?" Ohh no, I do not know how to answer what ❔.. I blur 😅.  After answering the question of Dr. Fa, I realized recently that I never knew what my strength was. There are more things to know about yourself.

In class, I just know that the field of counseling can lead to professionals. Being a professional counselor will need to study phases and stages in helping the process, theory, helping skill, technique as well as being a good effective helper. The counselor must also maintain the confidentiality of the client except for certain reasons.

In preparing an individual assignment, I can know myself more deeply. Through the process in preparing the task, I realize that it can motivate myself. The assignment was quite interesting and challenging to be done. I am grateful to👲 Joseph and 👩Yii Jing for giving full cooperation and interesting ideas in setting up a group assignment. Thank you very much to Dr. Fa and also to my friends in helping providing ideas and guidance in preparing the assignment. 

That's all I can share at this moment. I'm happy to know all my friends. Hopefully we all will be successful in any situation in the face of allegations and challenges as counseling students. 🎓
