SECOND POST: BASIC HELPING SKILL CLASS

BASIC HELPING SKILL

Hii everyone... Second class on 26/9/2017 for Basic Helping Skill was cancel by Dr. Fa. Which want my classmate and I to do the assignment at that time. I was started do the parts of my background part which is to tell about myself, my family and my education. I feel happy because can do this assignment, this is because i know most about myself and my family although it is naturely know about ourself but before this, we did not care about it. Besides, we also can understanding more about ourself which is our behavior and attitude. 

For my third class that is tuesday on 3/10/2017, I was learned about the Perry’s stages which is have the dualistic or right/ wrong stage, the mutiplistic stage (beginner) and the relativistic stage (old time). From my understanding, the Dualistic is you cannot focus what the client said because you are busy to find the answer. The Multiplistic stage is you do not know want ask which questions first but you know the questions. The Relativistic stage is have a option whether the good outcomes or bad outcomes. 

Besides, i also learn about the timeline, confidentiality, client autonomy and so on. We also learn about the effective communication which have verbal and non-verbal. We can talk or our body language to communicate. At that day, i have something miss because Dr. Fa was too fast like roket but, i have ask my friends to make me understand the part which I don’t understand. 

On 10/10/2017, when Dr. Fa come with a senior year 4 which is want my classmates and I to be a client. I was so excited because it is a chance to have a experience. It can also know the procedure to handle a client. I was wrote my name to be a client to take a experience. 

At that morning, Dr. Fa was did a reflection what did we learned at last week and i was thought or recall back what did i learned. At that time, i was worry because i haven't read because busy with assignment. Thanks to god that the Dr. Fa did not call my name. Then, we continue the next chapter and we was learned about minimal response, restate, paraphrase, clarifying, checking, reflection, questioning and other. At the end of the class, we was divided to 8 group which have 4 member in a group. We was give 10 minutes to discuss. After we discuss, we share our answer to classmates. And the class was finished.
